CBSE Class 12 Computer Science (083) covers Python revision, functions, data structures (stacks), file handling, exception handling, MySQL and SQL queries, database connectivity, and computer networks, assessed as 70 marks theory + 30 marks practical (program file, project and viva). Computer Science vs Informatics Practices, which is harder?+
Computer Science (083) is more programming- and concept-heavy (data structures, file handling, networks), while Informatics Practices (065) is lighter and application-focused (Python with Pandas, SQL, data management). Neither is 'hard' with the right teaching, pick CS for engineering/CS goals and IP for a lighter, data-oriented option.
