Why does drop() seem to do nothing?
Short answer. drop gives back a new table, so you must store it in df.
How do you add a column?
Write the column name in square brackets and assign a list.
Remember
| df["col"] = list adds |
| df.loc[label] = list adds a row |
| rename() and drop() return new |
You call drop, and nothing is gone. Why? E is English, S is Science. Square brackets add S. Drop gives back a new table, so store it in df. Brackets add a column. Loc adds a row. Drop and rename return a new table.
