Online coaching for CBSE Class 12 Computer Science: 4 options compared
There are 4 common ways to learn CBSE Class 12 Computer Science (083) online: free video courses, big ed-tech platforms, tutor marketplaces and a specialist live teacher. None is best for everyone. The right one depends on how much help the student needs with code, the practical file and board-exam planning.

1. Free video courses
What you get: full syllabus videos at no cost, from several free channels and sites, some in both English and Hindi medium.
Keep in mind: a video cannot read your code. In Computer Science, marks are lost on small Python and SQL mistakes, and the 30 practical marks depend on your own programs, report file and project.
2. Big ed-tech platforms
What you get: large national platforms run batches for many subjects, sometimes including Class 12 Computer Science, often with live classes, recordings and a subscription. What is offered for Computer Science changes from year to year, so look at the current session's batch page, not an old one.
Before you pay: check that the batch is for the 2026-27 session, and ask who will teach Computer Science, the batch size, and how coding doubts are answered.
3. Tutor marketplaces
A tutor marketplace lets you compare many tutors and institutes. Each tutor sets their own hourly rate (about Rs 100 to Rs 700 per hour in the listings shown to us on 16 Sep 2026; this is not a full survey), and profiles show experience, reviews and a free demo option.
Before you pay: every tutor is different, so take a demo and ask the tutor to solve one past board question in Python and one in SQL.
4. A specialist live teacher
This is a teacher or small team that teaches only computer subjects, live. Kwickprep is one example: classes are live, one-to-one or in a small batch, taught by Kajal Mehta (MCA), who has taught computer subjects since 2004. In the 2026 CBSE results, Kwickprep student Mukul scored 100/100 in Computer Science.
Keep in mind: it is a paid service, unlike free videos, and live classes run at fixed times. Kwickprep teaches computer subjects only, so it is not the right choice if you want every subject in one place.
How to choose in 3 questions
- Can the student write and fix Python code alone? If yes, free videos plus the official CBSE sample paper may be enough.
- Is the budget the main limit? Compare tutors on a marketplace and take 2 or 3 demos.
- Does the student need a teacher to check code, SQL or the project? Choose live classes where a teacher checks the work.
