Why will my program not compile?
Short answer. Often a missing closing brace or semicolon, or a class name that does not match the file name.

At the main method.

One missing brace breaks the whole program. Here is the skeleton. A class with braces. Inside it, the main method. Inside main, statements ending in semicolons. Class name matches the file. Main is the start. Close every brace.
