Does Integer obj = 45 compile?
Short answer. Yes. Java autoboxes the int into an Integer object.
What is unboxing?
Taking the primitive value back out of the wrapper, automatically.
Remember
| Autoboxing: int to Integer |
| Unboxing: Integer to int |
An object equals forty five? Yes, Java allows it. Forty five is boxed into an object. That is autoboxing. Adding five unboxes it again. So num is fifty. Autoboxing is int to Integer. Unboxing is Integer to int.
