Theory + practical or internal assessment
Parents often ask which board makes Computer Science harder. The honest answer is that the boards simply teach it differently.
The biggest difference is the language: CBSE uses Python, while ICSE and ISC are built around Java using BlueJ.
Neither is universally better. They reward slightly different learning styles, and a tutor must teach to the exact board your child studies.
Whatever your child's board, what matters most is a teacher who knows that exact syllabus well and teaches it patiently.
